FIREFIGHTERS were called to Queens Park today after a car was set on fire this evening.
A silver Vauxhall Corsa was set alight in West Street at the entrance to the park.
Crews were called at 6.10pm by a neighbour who saw the flames.
They believed the blaze was started deliberately, with both the front and back of the vehicle set on fire.
Its rear window was also smashed but the fire was put out before it could spread any further.
The police have been informed.
