A SCHOOL has again been given the thumbs up by the government’s education watchdog.

Ofsted has rated Mytham Primary School, in Little Lever as ‘good’ following its most recent inspection.

Inspector Helen O’Neill found that parents were ‘very supportive’ of the school and happy to recommend it to others.

She also highlighted safeguarding as being a ‘true strength’ of the Mytham Road school and, in further praise, added: “Staff are overwhelmingly positive in support of the school and your leadership.

“Staff believe that the school is well led by an ‘inspirational’ leader and all are proud to work at Mytham.”
