A NAMIBIA evening will be held at Holy Trinity Church to inform the community about a recent trip to the African country.
The Horwich church will give a presentation on Friday, September 29, detailing the visit undertaken by the Rev Caroline Tracey, her husband David and Horwich councillor Richard Silvester, as part of the church's support for various community projects in Namibia.
The three spent four weeks in July and early August looking at the projects, visiting schools, kindergartens, clinics, churches and meeting people.
As part of the visit, they gave the children knitted items including hats, finger and hand puppets and other gifts courtesy of Holy Trinity Church.
Cllr Silvester and Mr and Mrs Tracey will be giving the slideshow presentation at the church at 7.30pm on Friday and Namibian food will be available from 6.30pm.
Everyone is welcome to attend and donations can be made towards the the Holy Trinity Church Namibia fund.
