HOLIDAY season is well and truly over, the schools are back and daily rush hours are in full swing.
While some main roads will always be worse than others due to sheer volume of traffic and regular roadworks don’t help, we want to know if you think jams are getting worse in Bolton.
The video below was filmed at 9am on a Monday morning commute.
It shows slow and queuing traffic along a stretch of Blackburn Road, from Asda in Astley Bridge backing up to the War Memorial in Bromley Cross.
Other hotspots include Tonge Moor Road and Bury Road, while the ongoing emergency repairs after the railway bridge collapse at Moses Gate continue to cause a headache for residents and commuters.
How long does your regular journey to, in or through Bolton for work or the school run take? Is this longer than it used to be?
Have you got any suggestions of how traffic and congestion problems could be tackled in the town?
