POLICE have recovered a gun after a man was thrown out of a car.
Officers were called to Kershaw Street, Bury, at around 4.20pm today (Saturday) to a report that a man sitting in the driver’s seat of a dark 4x4 car had a gun.
It was reported to officers that the gun, which was wrapped in what is thought to be tissue paper, was seen when another man was sitting in the front of the car with the door open.
On seeing the firearm, a third man ran to the car and wrestled the gun from the driver’s hands.

The incident happened outside the King of Barbers and officers recovered a gun at the scene.
The man was taken to hospital where he was treated for his injuries and has since been discharged.
