CAMPAIGN signs protesting the development of green land around Westhoughton have been taken down.
The Hulton Estate Area Residents Together (HEART) group were ordered to take the signs down from lampposts by Bolton Council earlier this month, after the town hall received complaints.
HEART secretary Sandra Hesketh said: “Although the signs were erected anonymously by obviously passionate residents and are nothing to do with the Community Group, members of HEART were forced to act.”
