The local history fair at All Souls, in Astley Street
HISTORIC photographs, maps, and newspaper cuttings showcasing Bolton’s heritage were put on display last weekend.
Halliwell Local History Society organised a fair at All Souls, in Astley Street.
The well-attended event included displays by Bolton Family History, Bolton 66 Tram Group, Bolton Metal Detectors, and local history societies from Turton, Westhoughton, and Belmont.
Halliwell Local History Society launched its much-anticipated heritage centre at the refurbished church in February, after months of careful preparation.
