A woman has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of a man who she pushed into the path of a moving tram.
Philip Carter, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision at Victoria station in Manchester city centre on the early evening of June 11.
On Friday, Charissa Brown-Wellington, 31, from Oldham, appeared at Manchester Crown Court where she admitted unlawfully killing Mr Carter.
Mark Ford, defending, asked for the "somewhat exceptional" case to be adjourned for pre-sentence reports.
The Recorder of Manchester, Judge David Stockdale QC, said sentencing would take place on October 30.
