AMIR Khan's divorce from his wife Faryal still looks to be going ahead despite her emotional plea for them to stay together.
As reported, Mrs Khan took to Twitter yesterday stating that she had decided it was time for the pair to put their differences behind them.
She has since deleted the post and husband Amir has now responded.
Despite the pair having a daughter, Lamaisah, and Mrs Khan being pregnant, the boxer has said that the divorce is still going ahead.
He said: "Unfortunately it didn't work out between me and Faryal and we are still going ahead with the divorce. We are in good talking terms."
Mrs Khan had said that her children 'do not deserve a broken home'.
The pair separated after a public spat on social media at the start of August and it appeared there could be reconciliation but this now appears not to be the case.
In a separate post, Mr Khan said: "We have to think about our daughter Lamaisah who I will always be there for. I wish Faryal all the very best for the future."
Mrs Khan thanked her fans in the post and also apologised for infighting with his parents.
He thanked her for clearing up the accusations which he labelled as false.
