THERE are just two days to go until this year’s Kearsley Scarecrow Festival.
The event, now in its third year, takes place on Saturday and Sunday between 10am and dusk.
There will be 136 scarecrows on display around the Kearsley area.
Event guides and maps will be available at Unity Brook Inn, Tesco Express, Kearsley Mount Methodist Church and The Grapes Hotel
This year’s judges include 10-year-old Jaden Farrell Mann who was injured in the Manchester Arena bombing, Miss Farnworth and Kearsley Christina Cunningham and Tony Bridge from Bolton FM.
Winners will receive their prizes at Kearsley Mount Methodist Church at noon on Sunday. For more details email kearsleyscarecrowfestival@hotmail.com
