EVER pictured yourself behind the bar of a boozer — pulling pints and keeping the locals in check?
Admiral Taverns has a number of pubs currently for let, including three in the Bolton area.
The community pub group is looking for potential licensees, from all walks of life, for The Pineapple Inn and The Bay Mare, both in Astley Bridge, and The Lever Bridge in Darcy Lever.
The Pineapple Inn in Blackburn Road is described as prominently situated, on a busy crossroad in a highly populated area, and surrounded by housing.
The Bay Mare, also in Blackburn Road, has established sports teams and Admiral Taverns says there is the opportunity to develop the pub's entertainment programme.
The Lever Bridge is described as a fantastic community pub with a loyal customer base and the opportunity to develop the existing food on offer to punters.
John York, from Admiral Taverns, said: "The tenanted pub model is a great, lower-risk, lower-cost route for individuals to run their own business, with their own accommodation, right in the heart of their community and we must continue to encourage them to see the long-term opportunities available to them.
"We are looking for licensees who are familiar with the Bolton area and are enthusiastic about the local community.
"They will need to have a strong vision for the pub and will look to make it a hub for their local community."
