GUESTS at a charity lunch in Bolton have been thanked for helping to raise more than £5,000 for Cancer Research UK.
Two hundred guests attended the Turton Committee branch of the charity’s annual Autumn lunch at the Last Drop Hotel.
This year’s lunch involved a four-course meal, a variety of stalls, a raffle and a guest speaker, Dr Ali Raoof from the charity.
Also present was Natasha Foxford, a senior representative for the charity, who thanked the ‘amazing contribution of the committee.’
