A FARNWORTH playwright will aim to please theatre-goers with a showcase of his work.
Jim Cartwright, who has collaborated with Danny Boyle on a number of productions, is presenting Cartwright Cabaret this week.
The production will be staged by the Cartwright Drama Studio, run by Mr Cartwright in Chorley.
It will show his writing and the acting talents of the company through highlights from his plays including, Road, Two, The Rise and Fall of Little Voice and Raz.
The drama studio was set up to provide a new opportunity for aspiring actors to join the profession or train, it offers weekly acting classes.
The performance is being held at the New Adelphi Theatre, University of Salford, The Crescent, M5 4WT on Wednesday and Thursday, at 7pm both days, with a 1pm matinee on Thursday.
Tickets are £10 on the door, £5 concessions are available.
