RARE scientific and medical books are to be auctioned off to help a charity.
Around 100 specialist works have been donated to St Ann's Hospice by the Marton Library Trust.
They include one written by Dutch physicist, Pieter Zeeman, the winner of the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1902.
The books, some of which are over 200 years old, cover a variety of subjects including vision science, optics, microscopy, photography and cybernetics.
The books will be auctioned on the St Ann’s Hospice eBay site until 7pm on Sunday, September 17.
