MOVIEGOERS got a shock last night when they turned up to a midnight screening of new horror film, It.
After picking up their tickets and popcorn, many visitors to Cineworld in The Valley were startled to see a real life Pennywise peering over the mezzanine.
Complete with his infamous red balloon, the clown is the villain in the new film adaptation of the chilling 1986 Stephen King novel, which hit screens in the UK today, September 8.
Cineworld’s scary stunt was the latest in a string of special appearances at the Bolton multiplex.
Previously, the cinema has hosted Aston Martins on the forecourt during James Bond premieres, and Stormtroopers in the foyer during Star Wars screenings.
Have you seen It yet?
Have you seen the new movie? What did you think of it? Was it scarier than the old TV miniseries or book?
