THE mum of brave cancer battler Kyle Buckley is calling for help making her son’s dream of receiving a video message from the magician Dynamo come true.
Carol Buckley took to Facebook to issue the plea on behalf of 12-year-old Kyle, who suffers from the rare muscle tissue cancer Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma.
In a message on the social media network she said: “Make Kyle Smile - please could I ask you all to help me try to get a video message for Kyle of Dynamo, the magician. This is the one big thing I know that Kyle would like. Please will you try to help me in any way you can, like by tweeting Dynamo or if there’s another way you know that could make this possible for my boy while he is still here with us.”
Kyle is originally from Deane and now lives in Atherton.
His family are currently trying to raise funds towards specialist treatment. Some of the options potentially available to Kyle involve travelling to the USA.
Last month Bolton comic Peter Kay donated more than £75,000 towards Kyle’s battle against cancer. The Car Share star performed two shows in one day at the Manchester 02 Apollo to raise money for Make Kyle Smile and The Polly Haydock Appeal.
