A BOLTON systems management company specialising in cyber security has taken on more staff to cope with planned expansion and to boost current services.
Eventura moved into purpose-built £1 million pound premises on Bolton Road, Westhoughton, last year. The company was started 14 years ago by Chris Houghton and is a partner organisation of many leading technology providers such as Microsoft, Dell and Sage.
It has a range of clients across the country and across the world. Famous names among its past and present client list include Tommy Hilfiger, Ping, Umbro, Pringle, Jimmy Choo and online fashion vendors Missguided.
Now, it has taken on two new members of staff and welcomed back a former staff member to cope with its ever-increasing portfolio.
Connor Hobson previously worked for a large, multi-channel retailer providing IT support for internal staff, working on specific IT projects and supporting multiple retail stores. At Eventura he will be part of the service desk team, providing remote technical support for customers with a high level of customer service.
Luke Welden worked at a major infrastructure contractor on the internal service desk, providing face-to-face, over the phone and remote support to end-users in and out of the office. He was also technical lead on many projects and will be working with multiple customers, environments and technologies.
Rhiannon Hayes worked at Eventura for almost three years before leaving for a short period in which she maintained her relationship with the company. She has now returned as Marketing Executive following her graduation from the University of Bolton where she gained a first-class honours degree in Business Management.
Welcoming the staff, Chief Executive Dr Houghton commented: “Adding resource to our service desk in the introduction of Luke and Connor demonstrates our continued drive for service excellence and helps bolster our drive for business growth.
“Rhiannon joins our newly-created sales and marketing team, helping to drive our new business growth into our key markets as well as our emerging security and communications service lines.
“I wish them the very best during what I hope is a long and successful career at Eventura.”
