A WOMAN was cut from a car after a crash in Great Lever this morning.
Fire fighters had to pull back the roof of a car to rescue the driver after a collision in Crescent Road.
The crash, which involved two vehicles, took place near the Post Office just before 9am.
A crew from Bolton North cut open the car roof and pulled it back in order to rescue one of the drivers.
A North West Ambulance Service rapid response vehicle and ambulance attended and the female driver was taken to Royal Bolton Hospital.
It is believes she suffered minor injuries and fire fighters reported that the other driver was unharmed.
