FOUR men have been charged after a robbery at a store in Atherton.
Shortly before 12.35pm on Tuesday, August 29, three men wearing balaclavas burst into a McColl's store in Car Bank Street leaving a fourth man in a Vauxhall Vectra outside.
Patrick McDonagh, aged 36, of Ridge Crescent, Whitefield has been charged with business robbery.
The three other men, David Dargan, aged 32, of no fixed address, Richard Smith, aged 36, of Pegwell Drive, Salford and John Groom, aged 35, of Manchester Road, Worsley were all charged with business robbery and attempted robbery.
The four men are due to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court today.
A 48-year-old woman, who was arrested in connection with the investigation has been released under investigation.
