THE mother of Manchester Arena bomb victim Olivia Campbell-Hardy will be given away on her wedding day by her daughter’s best friend.

Charlotte Campbell has asked 15-year-old Adam Lawler to walk her down the aisle when she marries partner Paul Hodgson in November.

Adam was with Olivia when the terror attack happened on May 22.

Ms Campbell, of Redvales Road, Bury, said: “I don’t know where the idea came from, it just came into my head. Adam was coming to see us the next day, so I just asked him.

Ms Campbell’s father, Paul, died 11 years ago and she had always thought no one else would be able to take on the role of giving her away at her wedding.

Despite being engaged for many years, Ms Campbell and Mr Hodgson had continually put off tying the knot.

Ms Campbell said: “Family have come first before and got in the way of us getting married.

She added that Olivia had always been been planning for their big day.

She said: “When Olivia died we decided we were going to fulfil all of her dreams.

“She had ideas for dresses, bridesmaids, colour schemes and music.

“She will be there. Her picture will be there and everything is going to be what she would have wanted.”

A recording of Olivia singing John Legend’s All of Me will accompany Ms Campbell down the aisle.
