HELP: Staff at The Light have been inducted to help them learn about being dementia friendly
A FREE Dementia Friends information centre be at The Light Cinema, The Market Place, next week.
On Wednesday, September 6 at 9am, an hour-long session will be held to try to transform people’s perceptions of dementia.
The cinema is planning dementia friendly screenings that will be open to all in the future.
The session will be hosted by Dementia Friends champion Daniel Osborne, green room manager at the cinema, who has been volunteering with the charity.
