A RESIDENTIAL home which supports adults with mental health needs has received a ‘good’ rating from inspectors.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) visited Queens Park View in July for an announced inspection.
The home in Park Road, Bolton, was rated good for safety, effectiveness, care and responsiveness, but required improvement for leadership.
Speaking to residents, inspectors found they felt protected and listened to by staff.
The reported added: “People told us they felt able to talk with staff about things that concerned them and made them feel anxious.
“People’s privacy and dignity was respected by those supporting them. People told us staff asked their permission before doing anything to assist them.”
It also noted that there had been changes in the management in recent months and a newly appointed manager was in post at this inspection but they had yet to register with the CQC.
However, inspectors were told residents and staff members had felt supported throughout the transition period.
