FIREFIGHTERS broke into a house and rescued a puppy after a kitchen fire.
Crews from Atherton, Farnworth and Eccles Fire Stations were called to a property , on Tuesday.
A fire had broken out in the kitchen and crews were called just before 6pm
A spokesman said: “Crews broke into the property, and used a hose and breathing apparatus to tackle the fire and rescue a puppy.
“The crews were on the scene for just over an hour.”
