AMIR Khan confirmed he and wife Faryal are splitting up on Snapchat this evening.

Posting to his @amirkhanboxer account from Dubai, Amir told his fans he and Faryal were both going to 'move on', adding he had 'decided to walk away'.

Since the Twitter exchange this afternoon, people had been speculating the boxer's account had been hacked.

Amir cleared this up saying: "Nothing's been hacked."

Just after 2pm the boxer made the shocking announcement he and his wife of four years were splitting up.

He tweeted: "So me and the wife Faryal have agreed to split. I'm currently in Dubai. Wish her all the best."

In his video, posted at around 7.30pm on the social media app, Amir told his followers, he was 'not happy with the way I get treated by her'.

Earlier today on Twitter Amir made claims Faryal had moved on with 27-year-old boxer Anthony Joshua. Amir told his Snapchat fans everything he had posted on social media today was 'true'.

He thanked his fans for their support and said he was 'staying strong'.
