FROM Maloneys to Life Bar and Hawthorns to Ikon, who remembers these Bolton pubs and clubs of yesteryear?
Long before Blind Tiger, Hogarths and Level were the places to be, an array of venues were crammed full of lads wearing Ben Sherman shirts and girls in denim skirts.
Last week, The Bolton News published a gallery of photographs from Atlantis nightclub which was situated in the Valley Centertainment complex, Waters Meeting Road, between 1998 and 2004.
The feature proved so popular, we decided to delve into the archives to see what other reminders we could find of Bolton's nightlife of years gone by.
While the early 2000s may not seem like that long ago, take a look through the gallery above to see just how much fashions and Bolton have changed - and smoking indoors seems alien now since it was banished a decade ago this year.
Other popular bars from the early noughties include Barracuda, Red on the Square, Bar Chic, BL1 and Dali Bar.
Can you see yourself or any of your friends? Some famous faces can even be spotted enjoying a night on the tiles, from Paddy McGuinness and his Phoenix Nights pals to Bury girl Gemma Atkinson back in her Hollyoaks days. Paddy and Peter Kay's hairdressers even get a mention (no, we're not sure either).
