A HORWICH hair and beauty salon proved to be head and shoulders above the competition in a national hairdressing event.
Masquerade Hair and Beauty Salon, based in premises at Scholes Bank, was competing in the Britain’s Best 2016 competition run by the National Hairdressing Federation and held at the National Car Heritage Museum in Warwick.
It was up against 25 other salons from all over the country and entered two categories – A Glamorous Night on the Town, and Bridal Conventional and Non-conventional.
Masquerade had two stylists in the competition, Danielle Mcstravick and Sarah Gradwell, wit salon owner Sue Berry, Leah Holland Moore and salon manager Kim Taylor as models.
The duo won both categories on maximum points and Sue Berry said they were all “absolutely delighted” with the wins.
“It is a dream for us to be the best nationally and become an award-winning salon,” she stated.
“The whole team at Masquerade is so proud of what has been achieved.”
