AN VACANT town centre restaurant described as a "landmark building" is to go under the hammer.
The former Buffet King premises in Bradshawgate, at the corner of Great Moor Street, is up for auction at Network Auctions' sale on July 7.
It was originally a lot on the firm's auction in London on Thursday but was withdrawn before proceedings began.
The auction catalogue said: "The property is located in a prominent trading position.
"The building comprises three floors and basement and is of brick construction.
"The property was formerly a bar and Chinese restaurant and is in need of refurbishment throughout."
It comes with a guide price of in excess of £295,000.
