YOUNGSTERS enjoyed a pop-tastic show of music through the ages.
Bolton School's junior pupils were entertained with a session by The Pop Project's Understanding Music show.
Using popular music throughout the decades, the band introduced and gave examples of lots of different musical terms while working their way through history.
As well as learning more about musical vocabulary, the girls and boys were able to experience a wide variety of instruments, artists and styles.
During the ninety minute show, pupils sang, danced, and listened to hits from Cliff Richards, T-Rex, Bob Marley, Take That, Katy Perry and many more.
A spokesman for Bolton School said: "With recordings, video clips, lots of live performance, and plenty of opportunities to join in, the visit from The Pop Project was a fantastic treat.
"It also helped the girls and boys to learn more about music while having a great time."
