A MOTORCYLSIT who was injured during a crash in Bolton town centre has thanked the emergency services for their quick reactions.
Ashley Edwards was riding his orange Honda motorbike in Bridgeman Place, near the Shell garage, at 11am on Saturday, November 28, when he collided with a white Citroen C3.
He was left with multiple injuries but was conscious and breathing at the scene while the road was blocked off at the junction with Ash Street and emergency services attended.
Ashley later posted on Facebook: “I just want to try and let those who helped me know I appreciate everything you all did for me.
“After a trip to Bolton hospital, so far I can say I've got torn ligaments in my shoulder, a possible fracture in my wrist, a sprained ankle and bruised legs.
“The response time of the police and paramedics was so quick and to everyone that helped me at the scene many thanks.
“Also to the kind NHS nurse, thank you for keeping me warm, my partner is so grateful. I’m lucky to be sat at home with my family.”
