CAN you help find missing dog, Patch?
The adult male black and white Shih Tzu escaped from his owner’s garden in Mobberley Road, Breightmet, during the early hours of Monday, November 30.
Patch escaped through a fence, which his owners didn’t realise had been damaged in high winds.
He is microchipped and neutered.
A spokesman for doglost.co.uk, which is coordinating the search, said: “Vets, warden, dogs’ homes and the council have all been contacted, but nothing. We think he may have possibly been picked up, maybe by someone who doesn’t use the internet, or someone who doesn’t know you have to report a found dog by law.
“We have shared on Facebook and Twitter with hundreds of shares - but still no joy.
“Patch is very precious to Tammie the owner, as he is her mum's dog who passed away 12 months ago - so as you can imagine, she is very upset.”
If you know the whereabouts or Patch, or think you’ve spotted him, call 07908 522027 or 01204 770513.
