PADDY McGuinness tucks into a sandwich in Bolton town centre as part of a new £3 million advertising campaign for Greggs bakery, which starts next week.
The comedian, who has starred in Phoenix Nights and Max and Paddy's Road To Nowhere, was playing a landscape gardener buying his lunch at the shop in Newport Street.
He will appear in a series of adverts which viewers nationwide will see on their screens from Monday.
Natalie Hopper, Marketing manager at Greggs said: "Paddy McGuinness is very personable and is known to consumers across various age ranges. We felt he was perfect for injecting humour, while getting our key messages across.
"Greggs has for many years been a leading name on the high street, bringing freshly baked products to a cross-section of the public, so we wanted our campaign to appeal to everyone."
Paddy said he was a big fan of Greggs food and the bakery used to be his second home when he was at college, so he was more than happy to be involved when the company approached him.
