A STUDENT from Bolton has won the chance for her art to be used in a high-profile international advertising campaign for a High Street bank.
Farah Atcha, aged 20, from Ladybridge, won the Northern heat of Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance's The Art of Nurture competition, an initiative designed to help the cream of the UK's art students to develop a commercial career.
Salford University student Farah will take part in the national final May.
In addition to receiving £3,000, matched with £3,000 for their university, the national winner will see their artwork being used in advertising campaigns. Farah said: "It's a great opportunity that will stand me in good stead for a career."
Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance regional director Mike Scowen said: "Farah interpreted the brief accurately and delivered a truly impressive piece of work, worthy of use in a major campaign."
