ADVICE services in Darwen are to be expanded thanks to a new partnership between Blackburn with Darwen Council and the Citizens' Advice Bureau.
The agreement sets out the basis for joint working by the council and the CAB in social welfare advice.
Volunteers from the CAB, which operates just two days a week, will move into Darwen Town Hall alongside council staff, who offer a five-day a week advice service. The arrangements will come into force from June 1.
