POLICE want to speak to this teenager who they think may have vital information about the sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl in Bolton.
The victim was walking along Aldersyde Street, Great Lever, on January 15 when she was grabbed, pulled into some bushes and punched in the face.
The attacker then tried to pull down her trousers but when the girl screamed he panicked and ran off in the direction of Westcourt Road.
Police are keen to trace this youth who was caught on CCTV in the area at the time, as they believe he may have information that can help with their investigation.
He is believed to be between 15 and 17, 5ft 8in to 5ft 10in tall, of slim build with short light brown hair and a freckly face.
He was wearing a hooded top which had a dark body, light-coloured arms and a hood that was grey on the inside.
Anyone who thinks they recognise the boy in the CCTV picture is asked to contact police on 0161 856 0961 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
