NO-one wants to live next to noisy or unruly neighbours - and there is no reason why anyone should have to.
Nightmare neighbours are now being warned to behave or face the consequences by Bolton At Home, which runs the borough's council houses.
One change to tenancy agreements is that domestic violence can now be cited as a reason for the eviction of a tenant.
Also, tenants must not become involved in any form of anti-social behaviour or harassment.
Some people may claim that what goes on behind closed doors should stay behind closed doors, but when there are many deserving people on council house waiting lists excess noise, violence or drug-dealing cannot be tolerated.
