PUPIL Tina Aster enjoys a bird's eye view of her Darcy Lever neighbourhood whenever she likes.
The 11-year-old is able to pick out her home on the new Spring Meadow estate, thanks to a scale model donated to the school.
Housing developer Shepherd Homes handed over the promotional model to Tina's school, St Stephen's and All Martyr's in Radcliffe Road, as the 131-home estate nears completion.
Headteacher Mike Cummins said the 8ft by 4ft model would be used for school projects.
"We do a project studying homes throughout history and the infants do a local area study which will include a visit to the site to see the way it looks."
Mr Cummins said the display would also help inspire the children's model-making activities.
Shepherd Homes sales executive Nicola Smith said: "The model was in our sales office but we needed to find a new home it and the school thought they could make use of it in class."
