THE talent behind the mask has been revealed . . . with the help of Bolton's Octagon Theatre.
Youngsters aiming to be the artists and filmmakers of the future have opened an exhibition at Bolton Museum.
Seven children created Me, Myself And I, which features photographs, masks, puppets and a film, through Active8, a drama department at the Theatre which aims to improve young people's confidence.
The children were helped by professionals to create a puppet show and a film about how they viewed themselves and how they believe others judged them. Caroline Brader, head of Active8, said: "The exhibition opening went really well and we congratulated the youngsters at a reception. They were really excited to see their work displayed. We hope that this has encouraged some of them to pursue their new-found love of drama and the arts."
