JACK McClung fell five short of a double century as Walshaw out-scored league leaders Astley and Tyldesley by 32 runs.
Gavin Nicholl (124 not out) also smashed a century as his side set the table toppers a target of 316.
Travis Wordsworth (58), Hemant Patel (43) and Dave Harrison (75) led the revival but the overs expired during the final push with two wickets remaining.
Luke Perry struck his second century in as many days and Prenelan Subrayen scored 53 as Flixton recorded a comfortable 155-run victory against Darcy Lever.
After posting 255-2, Subrayen then turned his hand to the ball where he took 5-19 – dismissing the visitors for 98, with Ather Abid scoring 36.
Callum Flynn (89) and Jonathan Herreran (66) scored high as Swinton set Blackrod a target of 199 – with Thusendra de Zoysa bowling 6-32.
Zak Burton’s 31 was the highlight of the 121 reply – with David Flatley and Jake Brown taking three wickets each.
Elsewhere, Nekoli Parris struck 71 as Little Hulton tallied a respectable 165-run win against away to Daisy Hill. Naveed Yousuf (5-25) and Abid Younas (3-41) took the bulk of the wickets.
Younas top-scored with 46 as Daisy reached the target with two wickets to spare.
Steven Hood (41) and David Flanagan (31) were the notable batters as Lostock posted 187 against Worsley. Michael Gould and Schaughn Van-Greunen took three wickets each.
Daniel McKeown (42) and Van-Greunen (61) anchored the reply as Worsley came back with three wickets to spare – despite Flanagan and Simon Hanson taking three wickets apiece.
Jamar Griffith scored 81no as Atherton defeated Bury by six wickets Simon Belston (53) and Sean Gibson (31) helped Bury progress to 146, before Griffith led his side to victory.
Guy Haynes (59) and Ashley Eastwood (42) helped Edgworth record a 100-run victory over Westleigh.
Gareth Williams and Robert Entwistle took five wickets each for their respective sides.
