A MUSIC school is celebrating 30 years of harmony.
Pupils at Knightsbridge School of Music used to practise on invisible keyboards in their canteen.
Over the past 30 years, the school in Plodder Lane, Farnworth, has expanded from organ tuition to teaching piano, singing and small instruments.
It was started in 1977 by former midwife, Jennie Nightingale, the daughter of a music teacher father, when she was asked to teach a friend's niece how to play the organ.
She built up her school, which became known as Jennie's Place, teaching generations of the same families.
Mrs Nightingale is holding a reunion for past and present students on May 12, at 8pm.
She said: "I would love past pupils to get in touch and come to the party. I would like to know what music has done for their lives and if they are still playing."
