YOUNGSTERS are to benefit from a project to develop creative communities in Bolton.
The Young in Bolton Partnership Project will encourage young people from all communities to get involved with creative industries, including music, playwriting and acting.
The project is being organised by the town's Racial Equality Council, who want black and minority youngsters to take part.
The aim is to encourage diversity and social inclusion by developing common activities and shared interests. Bolton Music Service, the Active8 drama group, the Black Action Group and the University of Bolton are also involved.
The scheme will be launched tomorrow at the Lion of Vienna Suite at the Reebok Stadium, with speeches from Bolton West MP and Communities Minister Ruth Kelly, and Bolton Council leader Cllr Cliff Morris.
