A film-maker is looking for potential stars from Bolton's amateur theatre community.
Richard Stephens, an independent film director, is looking for BATS members to become involved in a professional movie project which will begin filming in October.
The film, provisionally entitled The Operative, is a gritty, action-packed, political thriller.
Richard is keen to involve actors and technical crew from societies across Bolton, both in front of and behind the camera.
Possible areas of interest might be as grips (props), sound, lighting, marketing, extras and actors.
Richard would like as many people to be involved as possible to help make the film one of the best that has been produced and released from within the UK.
Filming is expected to start in October, with an official release planned for December 2008 If you would like to be involved, contact Paul Walker at walker.hillyard@ntlworld.com or ring 07980 024073 with your name, age, contact details, experience if any, and position you would like to fulfil.
