THE Bolton Association got back underway on Saturday and Flixton continued exactly how they left off last campaign against Daisy Hill.
Daisy Hill batted first and started well scoring 71-2 after 19 overs. But once opener Navid Yousuf was removed from the crease after 42 runs, Andy Old (34) and Steven Hodgkinson (31) also fell, leaving the champions a score of 170 to beat.
The collapse was mainly down to the impressive bowling of Aiden Holmes who took 4-26, and Prenelan Subrayan who took 4-35.
And new signing Subrayan built a formidable partnership with Ashley Perry as they scored 70 and 61 not out to rally to victory, 172-2.
