RICK Arnold's goal was enough to move Atherton LR up to 18th place in NWCL Division One.
The striker's ninth-minute strike proved decisive as Rovers produced a much-improved performance to overcome mid-table Newcastle Town at Crilly Park last night.
Daisy Hill, meanwhile, will be boosted by the return of captain Craig Naylor for their home clash with Leek CSOB in Division Two tonight.
The defender missed Saturday's 3-2 defeat of Castleton Gabriels - a victory which lifted Hill out of the bottom two for the first time this year - but will go straight back into the side.
