ROUNDERS: WITH Summer Rounders fast approaching, the Bolton Winter Leagues are all but complete.
The Halliwell intended to complete their campaign on Sunday with a play-off for second place in Division Two, but as St Mary's were unable to raise a team they conceded second place to Dave's XI. However, the Farnworth League played their penultimate matches in windy, but otherwise excellent conditions.
Little Lever AFC produced the result of the day when they beat league leaders Adlington 140-118. The result leaves them two points ahead of FSCCC who were without a game.
Predictably, Hanson A beat Hanson B to stay in third spot and AJs had a comfortable victory over Dave's Shoes & Keys to retain a share of fourth place with Blades Barbers who had a narrow win over Capital in a close game.
