A woman, aged 87, had her handbag snatched by a thug.
The pensioner was walking along Oakenclough Drive, Doffcocker, at 6.10pm on Monday when the handbag was stolen from her shoulder.
Although she was not injured, the woman was left shaken.
The thief is described as white, aged 18 to 20, 5ft 4ins to 5ft 6ins tall and was well built.
