DAVID Cameron was right to say that Bolton Lads and Girls Club is an example for others to follow.
It is just a pity that many of the youngsters there did not know who he was.
The Conservative leader was at the club to launch an inquiry into the quality of childhood in Britain and he was impressed by the facilities, which draw many children in off the streets.
If children are to take any notice of the views of the likes of Mr Cameron though, perhaps politics needs to be introduced as a subject in schools.
