YOUNG football fans picked up some tricks of the trade in a coaching session with Wanderers star Quinton Fortune.
He passed on his expertise to around 60 children at their weekly training session at Pikes Lane recreational zone in Deane.The visit was part of the Football in the Community scheme which builds links with Wanderers and local communities.
Abdul Basit, Wanderers' community cohesion officer said, "Many of the kids here are from Somalia and Pakistan and it is great for them to learn from Quinton because he is like a hero to them, as a Bolton and former Manchester United player."
Danny Ruben, Wanderers' press officer, said: "We are very pro-active with our activities, getting as many players as possible from the club out to help with community events in Bolton."
Further coaching courses for boys and girls, run by experienced PFA coaches are available during the Easter break at several centres in Bolton.
