ATHERTON LR manager Roy Sweeney is looking to bolster his squad with two new signings this week.
Struggling Rovers, fourth from bottom in NWCL Division One but safe from relegation, entertain mid-table Newcastle Town tonight.
The Atherton manager does not expect to make any additions before the clash at Crilly Park, but hopes to have the new recruits in place for the weekend.
Sweeney will name the same team against Newcastle which conceded a last-minute equaliser in Saturday's 3-3 draw with Glossop North End.
Rovers have been handed a home tie against Eagley in the first round of the Bolton Hospital Cup. The full draw is: Atherton LR v Eagley, Bolton County v Turton, Ramsbottom United v Stoneclough, Tempest United v Breighmet United. No dates have yet been decided.
