THE reality of relegation from the Premier Division of the Manchester League came even closer for Breightmet United.
How the score was goalless at half time was unbelievable, the woodwork being hit on three occasions by Breightmet and once by Blackley.
The Breightmet side were seemingly still in the dressing room when Blackley scored within a minute of the restart. It affected the Breightmet side badly and this was emphasised when Ben Wells put the ball over the bar from five yards out when it would have been easier to score.
Blackley scored a second goal in the 85th minute and a third followed in the last minute.
