CASTAWAY Erica Hurst has admitted she "had a little bond" with fellow islander Joe.
Viewers of the BBC reality TV show have watched the 22-year-old, from Kearsley - who married in a Las Vegas wedding just six-weeks-ago - develop "a crush" on her fellow castaway.
And as Joe ended a forced five-day segregation from the rest of the group, with blonde companion Clare, Erica confessed: "I miss him because I used to talk to him and stuff.
"I had a little bond."
Meanwhile Joe had an admission of his own before setting off to rejoin the main group.
He told Clare: "When I get back to the island I'm going to tell Erica in a very positive and friendly way, that she won't take offence at, to leave me alone."
The contestants are aiming to stay the course for 12 weeks on New Zealand's Great Barrier Island.
And as rations started to reach a low point, viewers of last night's show saw the bikini-clad Erica, a former lapdancer, mucking-in with the rest to dig a trench in a bid to trap fish.
She was also seen watching in horror as the inhabitants resorted to killing a chicken for dinner.
Last night, viewers saw former drug and alcohol addict, Jason Ross, become the first to be voted-off the island by fellow contestants.
Erica admitted that she would have preferred to see 42-year-old Scot, Jonathan, leave.
